My_digital_renderS

After a long time, I am posting up some new pieces of work....
below are a few digital renders of a replica of a chruch I designed with the aid of 3DS Max, fotr the textures I have utilized my own photographs, which were taken from location of the church, and have tried to achieve the best I could.

The church was designed for a shot which only with the aid of a helicopter we could create the shot.
And all three of us, being only students we were tight on budget and went for this option.

The reason behind the design of the church was for a group project at my time on the 2nd year at Leeds Metropolitan University. The project was to remake a scene from a movie, yet as a group we felt there were too many too choose from, and the standard of blockbuster movies would be tough achieve. therefore we diverted the idea slightly and came up with the idea of creating our own short movie/ trailer.. which showed clips of animtion and special effects.

ENERGY... in the palms of my HANDS

Here is my latest piece... this was an A2 poster designed for an Exhibition at the University Centre Oldham... at the end of the course. The Poster was designed using some photography, image manipulation and some 3D elements. The concept of the hand and the graphical elements around it is to implicate two things, these are digital and desire. First the hand shot in a position where my hand is held out and almost asking or wanting somthing, this is where the desire concept is brought in. Secondly and finaly the digital side, is simply the elements created and edited on and around the hand using both Photoshop and 3D Max.

Currently I am picking up new skills in Adobe After Effects, and in the future I hope to animate this piece of work, so please keep watchin this space and keep desiring all things DIGITAL!!!!

Hello All, Happy new year, Now I know I havent posted anything for a while, reason being, I have been experiencing some technical problems with my log in details. However on the other hand, here is a piece of work which I worked on by hand and scanned in, the inspiration for this comes from an artist who has made quite a name for himself over the past year. Si Scott's work has been recognised in the Creative Times News paper, the Computer Arts Magazines, and another contemporary typography pieces done for The Orange wireless network, this was purely to promote the company's new internet broadband service. I hope to be creating a vector version of this in Illustrator, and this too will be posted up on here asap.

Edwins Creativity

An essential aspect of creativity is not being afraid to fail. — Edwin H. Land.

Edwin Herbert Land, an American Scientist who was also an inventor. Amongst other things Edwin invented inexpensice filters for polarizing light, instant polaroid photography, and his retinex theory of colour and vision. Not forgetting, one time was listed the worlds richest scientist via the 'Guiness Book of World Records'.

Edwin also quotes...

"If you use
creativity to see the oppurtunities in life's problems, just imagine the options: you can find solutions, that spark of the genius which everyone has inside themselves"

How do you enhance creativity?...Write down ideas; writing them down makes them real. Take risks. Loosen up, be different, be foolish, and have fun. Challenge assumption, be persistent, dont be afraid to dream, be open and jiggle.

Finally....

"Happiness," ... "lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort." - Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Toni Bratincevic

Recently, I have been searching on the current leading designers who work in the fields of my interests such as 2D, 3D Animation and also 3D modelling plus many more, but you can check the rest out on my profile.

On the other hand, whilst searching I came across a Croation 3D Artist, Toni Bratincevic
who currently works for Vizije, an art design studio based in Croatia. Vizije meaning visions, and judging by Toni's work, I would most deffinetly say this artist has shown many visions, versions and different styles in his 3D work.

The majority of Toni's work is fantasy based. Im not sure what influences and inspires such an artist, but he does feed alot of his personal feelings into his work, maybe his feelings could be his inspiration. Who knows?

Bounded By Destiny

A piece of work which really caught my eye
For links to more of Toni's work, please visit his personal website http://www.interstation3d.com/

During surfing Toni's site, I also came across some great links, and I recommend those who are interested in this field of design, to view theses links
