When Leeds Met IIFA 2009

Above is a officical title teaser that I created for the Leeds Metropolitan University's Student Experience Program. Each year students and staff apply and volunteer for the oppurtunity to work side by side with some of the biggest names in the Bollywood industry. I had the oppurtunity to experience working amongst such hard working, admirable and keen people around Hong Kong and Macau aswell as Meeting some of the Movie Stars.

The University Hired a Camera Man to film footage of the Experience in order to get more students involved for the following years, and since our return from China, I have been contributing to the edit of the IIFA Experience DVD.

Ninja vs Samurai - Rotoscope

This is an animation which was created for a module during my time at the Leeds Metropolitan University. Rotoscoping is mostly known to be frame by frame stills traced over live footage in order to achieve a unique motion picture style. However when creating the animation above, I took a much longer route to achieve the desired look, I created my own animations in 3D and traced them frame by frame, and merged different clips together.

3D animations created in 3D Studio Max
Rotoscoped in Adobe Photosop
Composited in Adobe After Effects

Fragrance Prototype Commercial - The Making

Fragrance Prototype Commercial

This was a recent project for a client, I was asked to create and composite a spray/ mist like effect for a web commercial. Video footage was shot by the client.

Dreamworks Digital Desire

Here Is my latest post, What can I say, as soon as this idea popped into my head, I was eager to complete the animation, and so here it is, my quick movie intro animation, inspired by none other than Dreamworks Animation's. I hope my piece is just as inspirational as the orignal Dreamworks intro.

Application: 3D Studio Max 9, Adobe After Effects 7.0
For me to achieve this, I composited various layers of clouds and smoke with tweekd animations
and a created a null object in After Affects in order to move around the scene, and have my camera simply navigate through the scene of clouds.
