Edwins Creativity

An essential aspect of creativity is not being afraid to fail. — Edwin H. Land.

Edwin Herbert Land, an American Scientist who was also an inventor. Amongst other things Edwin invented inexpensice filters for polarizing light, instant polaroid photography, and his retinex theory of colour and vision. Not forgetting, one time was listed the worlds richest scientist via the 'Guiness Book of World Records'.

Edwin also quotes...

"If you use
creativity to see the oppurtunities in life's problems, just imagine the options: you can find solutions, that spark of the genius which everyone has inside themselves"

How do you enhance creativity?...Write down ideas; writing them down makes them real. Take risks. Loosen up, be different, be foolish, and have fun. Challenge assumption, be persistent, dont be afraid to dream, be open and jiggle.

Finally....

"Happiness," ... "lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort." - Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Toni Bratincevic

Recently, I have been searching on the current leading designers who work in the fields of my interests such as 2D, 3D Animation and also 3D modelling plus many more, but you can check the rest out on my profile.

On the other hand, whilst searching I came across a Croation 3D Artist, Toni Bratincevic
who currently works for Vizije, an art design studio based in Croatia. Vizije meaning visions, and judging by Toni's work, I would most deffinetly say this artist has shown many visions, versions and different styles in his 3D work.

The majority of Toni's work is fantasy based. Im not sure what influences and inspires such an artist, but he does feed alot of his personal feelings into his work, maybe his feelings could be his inspiration. Who knows?

Bounded By Destiny

A piece of work which really caught my eye
For links to more of Toni's work, please visit his personal website http://www.interstation3d.com/

During surfing Toni's site, I also came across some great links, and I recommend those who are interested in this field of design, to view theses links

New Technologies

Hardware and Software Development

Surround sound was just the beginning. Flexible, superthin light-emitting-polymer displays have evolved to the point where your dream home theater is now a room within a television. The slim, pliable flat panel - a seamless wall covering that extends around you - pulls in whatever you want to watch via wireless satellite feed. Now that's a wrap.

I have reaserch on forthcoming technology designs and ideas. A website I came across (link shown above)

Now, it is stated in the link above, that the roll-up polymer screen is simply a product for a wishlist for the oncoming decade to pass. However, I personally feel there is a long wait for technology such as this to be commercialised and have no doubt it will be. On the other hand, looking at the future of hardware in regards to screen technology I do think that we will see much more portable polymer screens for the use of people on the go, such as those who like to work on a larger scale rather than limited to 17inch laptops or their PDA's .

I beleive a technology such as this has a real potential and judging from this I can comfortally predict a polymer screen where information displayed on the screen will be fed via a globally unlicensed short-range radio frequency from also another portable desktop pc/ notebook most likely in the size of a 60GB iPod video
